Generate SSH Keys in Two Easy Steps
This post is probably as much for me as it is everyone else. I got sick of having to look up 3 or 4 different SSH keygen tutorials every time I needed to generate a private/public SSH key pair, so I thought I’d write up my own. Here’s how to make your own SSH keys at a shell prompt (i.e. Linux):
Still Alive on Carillon
Yesterday my good Friend Bwana shared an article on Lifehacker about GrandCentral preparing for a new release. In his comment along with the shared item Bwana said,

Of course, that prompted me to search YouTube for the song. I listened to it and I enjoyed it. I also checked out a few others including a live version of Still Alive performed by the writer, Johnathan Coulton.
After listening to the live version, I searched for Johnathan’s blog and started browsing around on it. I came across a post of Still Alive being played on the carillon. Check out the video. The carillon isn’t terribly impressive to watch, but it’s a cool video to listen to.
Laptop as a Wireless Router
You may some day come across the rare situation of temporarily needing an extra wireless router. I can’t really think of a good example, but I know that I encountered such a situation yesterday. I decided I would write up an article as it may prove useful to others that may find themselves in a similar situation some day.
