Cutting Edge Google Chrome Updates
September 16, 2008 · Posted in Web Browsers
CNET has an article about the Chromium team making development builds available to those who like to be on the cutting edge. The Chromium team anticipates that the dev releases will come about once a week. If you’re interested in getting these updates, you can subscribe to the Chromium Dev Channel and download the Chrome Channel Switcher. Once you’ve updated, you should be running version 0.2.152.1 (at the time I wrote this post). Just like Stephen Shankland (author of the CNET article), when I tried to verify I had the update, it said “checking for updates…” until I got tired of watching the little spinning icon.
